Would you be uncomfortable if you were at a parent teacher meeting, and they laughed as they described pulling your kid’s pants down and hitting them with a spoon because your kid did something wrong and needed to be punished? Why do teachers have to find ways to discipline children (yes, even children doing dangerous things) without violence, but parents don’t?
