• “Trying to protect survivors” does not entitle you to harass and abuse other people.
• You’re not “protecting survivors” if you think it’s okay to harass ACTUAL survivors just because they don’t agree with you/want to reveal their survivor status.
• Being mentally ill doesn’t give you the right to treat other people like shit. Not here, not anywhere.
• Being a survivor does not exempt you from being/becoming abusive yourselves.
• Take responsibility of your actions. Don’t try to blame your mental illness, the ship, shippers, or everyone for your OWN actions.
• If you find something that offends you or triggers you, try to find ways to protect yourselves. There are many tools available to blacklist, even for the app. Shippers are not your babysitters.
• DON’T FORCE SURVIVORS TO REVEAL THEIR SURVIVOR STATUS IF THEY DON’T WANT TO FOR GOD’S SAKE! It’s none of your business.
• There are many ways to cope. Don’t tell people they can’t cope with x ship because “it’s not the right way to cope”.
• Don’t call shippers ‘pedophiles’, ‘actual rapers’, etc, just because they ship something you find ‘problematic’.
• Don’t say pedophilia is not a mental disorder just because you shield yourselves under your own mental disorders and don’t want to be under the same label.
• Don’t tag your hate. If you don’t like x ship, fine, you don’t have to like everything, but people go to those tags because they want to see ACTUAL content about that ship.
• Fiction ≠ Reallity. Simple like that.
• Shippers don’t erase ‘canon’ representation. If it’s canon, it’s going to stay like that, some fans drawing/writing something different it’s not going to change it.
• Just because shippers may like something you find ‘problematic’, it doesn’t mean they actually support/condone it in real life. That’s like saying that any slasher films fan is going to turn into a serial murder.
• Age gap ≠ Abusive relationship. Why this is so hard to grasp?
• USA is not the only country in the world. Different countries have different laws and culture.
• DON’T TELL PEOPLE TO KILL THEMSELVES BECAUSE OF THEIR SHIPS. That’s beyond disgusting.
• Overall, just grow up and stop acting like whining babies.
