That’s basically how I think Smokey has such a cute confident attitude. Because Steven loves and believes in Ame, and Ame loves and believes in Steven. Both of them are usually undone by their own self confidence issues (especially Steven) but with the mutual support they can quiet each other’s insecurities and perform amazingly.

Smokey was quick and powerful and adaptable as hell.

Smokey was also graceful and bouncy and funny.

Smokey was literally all the good in Steven and Amethyst in an adorable fat yoyo wielding package.
