the English translation makes the conversation between you much more specifically platonic than the Korean version!!! here are two such instances:

“…but I think a friendship between two women can be just as powerful.” should actually be “…but I think the power of empathy two women can share is amazing.”

and

“I look forward to being friends with you.” should be “I’d like to further develop my relationship with you.”

what I’m trying to say is that THEY’RE GAY
