throwback to one time when i was a kid and another kid sneered at me “you’re an optimist” as like, an insult. and i was really young and didnt know what that word meant yet, but i’d been to the eye doctor w my mom a bunch and had seen signs that said “optometrist” and thought that that was what they said so i replied “no i hate eyes”
