This scene doesn’t only show that Azula may have a bad and Zuko a good heart in general. For me this scene shows that KIDS, and they are nothing but kids, are very affected by their parents and how they are raised. They both grew up in the same family but happen to be very different. Zuko spend more time with his mother, who was kind, and felt her love every day. Azula spend more time with her father who didn’t see humanity but machines and tried to raise a heartless fighting machine. This is the outcome. Kids can be so different and it breaks my heart that Azula became so cruel that she thinks it is weak crying over a lost son. Because Iroh is nothing but brave.
