As someone who got their shit together in their mid 20s I’m gonna leave you all with a word of advice.

Tumblr’s anti recovery stance  and myopic rabbit holes are bad for your mental health.

There are a lot of angry people on this site who have gone through some shit but never learned how to properly process what they went through so they lash out at anyone they can because it feels good and then wonder why their lives are so shitty. Part of my recovery was recognizing that I had my own culpability in my failure to recover and heal through what I went through and grow as a person.

You can’t survive on a diet of pure anger and rage. It will eat away at your soul and leave you alone and miserable.
