Grocery stores do lots of shit like that. Sometimes they move just one key thing so people will hunt around the place to find it and in the process notice more things they want. Basic staples like milk, eggs and butter are usually at the farthest end for that very reason and when you turn back around after picking up those staples, there will often be a sale item in your immediate field of view.
