i think the reason avatar the last airbender has remained so firmly embedded in our cultural consciousness even over a decade later is because it posits such universal questions as, what if your friend really wanted you to kill his dad for him….. like straight up murder him…. (he really does not like his dad) but you. you are just a little boy……………
