Thought I’d warn everyone that Clip Studio Paint is trying to swap to a bullshit update subscription model.

1.x (the current version) will still have stability updates until 3.0, but any features added during 2.0 will be pay walled (Not to mention that again, 3.0 cuts off support entirely). There is also a one-time payment for 2.0 but it seems like even that requires the bullshit “update pass”. AND they cut off support at 4.0, so its pointless anyway.

If it wasn’t clear, I think this is bullshit. A truly Adobe-level move. I absolutely love this program, but I can’t condone supporting them anymore. Do not give them any money. There’s plenty of other programs.
