I love the phrase “he would not fucking say that”. Truly encapsulates the number of times I have read a fic where a character would not fucking say that

To be fair there is also the fic writer version. He would not say that but by god he’s a puppet and I’m the one with my hand up his ass so he WILL say it

He’ll say it if he knows what’s good for him
