wait hold on. mp100 takes place starting in approximately 2012 based on when the manga started coming out and a couple other things. the main kid characters are 13-15 or so. all the mob psycho characters are older than me…

ok so yeah according to the character profiles from the manga giving us birthdays and chinese zodiac signs (this is assuming the series starts taking place in 2012, which lines up with the zodiac animals far as i can tell):

  • mob was born may 12, 1998
  • reigen was born oct 10, 1984
  • ritsu was born july 2, 1999
  • teru was born april 13, 1998
  • shou was born dec 1, 1999

mob and teru would be 24 today, ritsu and shou would be 23, and reigen would be 38
