“I don’t want my image to cloud my music, and I don’t want my music to be successful because of the way I look. The reality is that all artists need a strong image. I love clothes and I used to customise and make my own when I didn’t have much money. I still have lots of DIY gems, like T-shirts and jeans with Hello Kitty transfers on them.”
