Glados isn’t even that incompetent at killing people in the sense she can’t, she killed everybody before and after chell. She flooded a room with neurotoxin and rockets and chell only survived because she managed to speedily tear apart glados before the neurotoxin killed her. Chell is just a freak. and that’s why glados got kind of obsessed with her
