TW: Brief mention of past suicidal thoughts.
I don’t usually do this but I find myself in a really tough spot at the moment. I am currently struggling financially. I’ve been job hunting for a month now and have not had any luck. I am still doing this. Last week, my immediate family cut me off financially. My father forbade my grandparents & other family members from helping me. He has told them I am a liar, lazy person that does not “keep my word” and “gives up easy”. They think I am still dependent on drugs & don’t believe me. I don’t even drink anymore! My name is Elías. I am a transmasculine person currently on HRT, been on it for 6 months now. I am also in the process of getting diagnosed for autism spectrum. Running the tests and such with doctors. I have state medical insurance in my country but it barely covers expenses. I really do not ask for much. I just need $100 to get by. I’ve survived on barely anything many times. I just want to cover my T shot, medications & copayments. I also have a past due phone bill but I really don’t care so much about not having an active phone as I don’t really use social media ir anything. Just this & Youtube. My priority is more so my medical expenses. I have been really catching myself to not let suicidal thoughts come back. I don’t need another attempt. Not after getting this far. I have worked hard on myself but my family still thinks I am the same person I was 5 years ago. I had to distance myself for my own mental health.
